Lecture ” Our Common Language” By Mr. Tsong-Han Lu, Tzu-Chi Foundation Religious Affairs Office.

Department of English Language and Literature held a seminar in October and invited Mr. Tsong-Han, Lu from the Religious Affairs Office of Tzu Chi Foundation to share his experience of international earthquake relief in Mexico, Mozambique and Ukraine, as well as his experience of studying overseas to broaden his international perspective.

With his rich experience in international disaster relief, Mr. Tsong-Han, Lu shared his international experience and challenges with the audience through his own story, in order to inspire students to challenge themselves.

After the speech, the students gained a lot and expressed their feelings: “The touching experience of international disaster relief helps us to find out the value of life” and “Although the language is different, the kindness is a powerful positive energy for disaster relief in Mexico! ”
