The date of Female Film Festival is from October 31st to December 31st. The aims of Female Film Festival are to offer unique perspectives of arts and humanities, and introduce the thoughts of multi-gender. Moreover, the most important point is to promote the concept of gender equal rights.
Feminism is a collection of movements and ideologies which share a common stated aim: to define, establish, and defend equal political, economic, cultural, and social rights for women.
Gone Girl

What is the most desirable power that women want? In the story of The Wife of Bath, the woman becomes a beauty in the end because her husband gives her the discretion. What most women want is to have the right to control everything around them.
The theme of this movie is control. Amy's parents control Amy, and Amy controls her husband and ex-boyfriends. After leaving her husband, Amy is controlled by her neighbors in a small town, and Amy is unwillingly controlled by her past pursuer. Finally, when Amy comes back to find her husband, she controls him again. In this movie, all the "controls" reveal the truest side of human nature. Most of us have the desire of control, especially women under patriarchal society, but we often repress this desire. However, In this movie, Amy reveals the desire of control, which is in everyone's mind; at the same time, she also shows modern female's unswerving determination and the cool-head attitude when facing problems.

At first glance, it seems that all the plots are led by the male protagonist, Jeff, but actually, it is Lisa, the female protagonist, who controls the plots of the movie.
For example, Jeff has discovered a murder case that happened in the opposite building; however, he is not able to explore the murderer's house because he has a broken leg. Instead, Lisa is voluntary to do this dangerous event. After sneaking into the murderer's apartment, Lisa does many things that are based on her own curiosity, but not allowed by Jeff.
From this example, we can see the force of action and the decision-making power that are shown by Lisa. Moreover, we also find that men think they control everything, but in fact, they appear to be comparatively craven and incompetent. There are many symbols of feminism, for example, Lisa's dress. At the beginning, Lisa wears dresses, but in the end, she wears pants to instead. These symbols represent the rise of female consciousness and the changes of social values.
Nymphomaniac

From ancient times, women's rights have been comparatively much more disadvantaged than men's. In the traditional society, men's sexuality is widely regarded as the matter of course; however, women's is usually considered a dissolute matter. In this movie, it is a representative of feminism. We can clearly see that the heroine, Joe, escapes the secular visions and pursues her own inner desires from the following three points.
The first one is fish and baits. Men are the fish, and women are the baits. Generally speaking, in the first stage, fish will actively bite the baits. Suppose fish doesn't bite the baits,It will become the second stage. In this stage, if the baits attract fish, eventually fish will bite the baits. It is just like men's instinctive reaction—sex which is led by women.
The second one is the symbol of cake fork. In the stereotype, men usually do not use cake forks when eating cakes, but women are different from men. However, in this film, the male protagonist, Jerome, uses cake forks when eating cakes. This behavior symbolizes not only men are feminized but also the capitalism.
The third one is the repeated lies. After having sex with those men, Joe always says the same words to appease their emotions. "It is my first orgasm when having sex with you." She says. However, the truth is not like what she says. Men may feel appeased and have the sense of vanity when hearing these words. Men will consider that they lead everything, but actually, women are the leaders of men's sexuality.
