Seminar: Presentation Workshop

Department of English Language and Literature of Tzu Chi University held a seminar in October, inviting lecturer Prof. Roger Tsai from the Foreign Language Education Center of Tzu Chi University and Dr. Sandrotua Bali from the Department of Education of National Dong Hwa University. To share how to make a good presentation that can be applied in the future workplace and enhance the competitiveness of students in the workplace.

In addition to the basic introduction of presentation skills and practical explanation, the lecturer came down from the podium to interact with students and answer their questions, so that students could better understand the principles and essentials of English presentation. By using diagrams and animations, the presentation can be more eye-catching, and it can also be used to save the time of making presentations by applying templates from online resources.

After the presentation, the students all gained a lot and gave the feedback: “Attracting the interest and attention of the readers, and then influencing the support or discussion of the people, the more you can achieve the ideal goal of the presentation, which makes me feel very rewarding.” and “How the presentation was presented and explained, the teacher started from the introduction to the metaphors, contrasts, highlights, and concluding remarks were all very rewarding! ”
