Alumni Seminar – Speaker Rita Chang. Workplace experience of teaching children English and exchange experience at Halmstad University, Sweden.

Department of English Language and Literature at Tzu Chi University held an alumni seminar this month. We invited Rita Chang, who is now teaching English to children, to share her teaching experience with students, so that they can have a better understanding of teaching English to children in the workplace, including teaching targets, teaching materials, changes in teaching mindset and tips.

Rita has studied in Sweden and shared her overseas study experience with students in this speech. From the preparation beforehand to the difficulties and challenges faced during the study abroad, she introduced the European food and life culture to motivate the junior students to actively pursue the opportunity of student exchange.

After the speech, the students gained a lot and expressed their feelings: “I was impressed by your English oral presentation, and it will strengthen my oral skills in the teacher training program. “and “It’s not easy to study abroad, you need to be familiar with the local life style. ”
